2007
Anne Nielsen won the Wilber Runk Award.
2006
Ruth A. Caceres won the John B. Schmitt Award. This award is given to the outstanding undergraduate student in entomology. The Schmitt Award is based on scholarship, character, leadership potential and courses taken in the Entomology Department.
Professor Karl Maramorosch Received the L. O. Howard Award from the Eastern Branch of the Entomological Society of America.
Randy Gaugler has been named an Albert Einstein Visiting Professor by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Dr. Gaugler was also awarded a Research Fulbright fellowship that will take him to Egypt.
