Connecting to rci.rutgers.edu
The only way to access the RCI system directly is through RUNet to the host rci.rutgers.edu
- Via Modem
- Dial in to one of the OIT terminal servers, phone numbers are available online via INFO. At the terminal server prompt, type rci.rutgers.edu. You will be connected to the RCI system
- From a machine on the network
- From any machine on the RUNet you can Telnet to rci. The commands to use Telnet differ by machine type, but in all cases you want to Telnet to the host rci.rutgers.edu.
- From a campus computing center
- Campus computing centers are available on all campuses. From any of these sites you can Telnet to rci.rutgers.edu or open an X-windows session. For details you should talk to the on-site staff.
