Poás

Poás is a large shield volcano in Costa Rica. It has multiple vents and two large summit craters, one with very active fumaroles and another with fresh water.  The buildings just to the upper left of the freshwater lake are part of the Volcanoes National Park infrastructure.  Unfortunately some large buildings, made with wetal and glass, are heavily damaged by the acid rain from Poás.
