Helen Frey was a mainstay of her church and her community in Saxtons River, Vermont. She passed away on Friday May 17, 2002. I have assembled some materials for those who remember her best.

My memories of Helen, by Frank Deis
Helen, in the blue dress, is looking proud of her grandson Tom Deis at his high school graduation in 1999. Seated is his other grandma, my mother Marie Deis.
At the service, several people said "This was Helen's church."
Corliss Wright, who is exactly Helen's age, stood up and said "The old
church down the street [now the Historical Society] was Helen's
church, too. She was the administrator when they closed it down."
