THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY, THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, STATE HOUSE, TRENTON, N. J.

WHEREAS, The New Jersey General Assembly is pleased to honor and salute the New Jersey Mosquito Control Association, Inc., a highly esteemed organization within the Garden State community, upon the auspicious occasion of "National Mosquito Control Awareness Week," June 23 to 29, 1997: and,

WHEREAS, The New Jersey Mosquito Control Association Inc., regarded as the first state association to become a sustaining member of the American Mosquito Control Association, is commended for its initiative in better informing the public as to how organized mosquito control disease vectors and nuisance pests, thus saving many lives and enhancing the quality of life of countless others; and,

WHEREAS, The American Mosquito Control Association is renowned and respected as a world leader in developing and delivering scientifically based and environmentally sound programs to control disease vectors and nuisance pests, thus saving many lives and enhancing the quality of life of countless others: and,

WHEREAS, The strength and success of the State of New Jersey and the effectiveness of our American society depend, in great measure, upon concerned and dedicated organizations, exemplified by the New Jersey Mosquito Control Association Inc., which use their considerable resources in behalf of our good health: and,

WHEREAS, It is both proper and fitting for the members of this House to pause in their deliberations to commend the New Jersey Mosquito Control Association Inc. for its steadfast commitment to protecting public health in the State: now, therefore,

Be it Resolved by the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey: That this House hereby honors the New Jersey Mosquito Control Association Inc., pays tribute to the meritorious service and dedication of its leaders and staff, and urges all New Jerseyans to mark and observe "National mosquito Control Awareness Week"; and,

Be it Further Resolved, That a duty authenticated copy of this resolution, signed by the Speaker and attested by the Clerk, be transmitted to the New Jersey Mosquito Control Association Inc.
