Funk-Kin in the Studio
Tim Shider's favorite funky memory is
the classic Livingston College show, which represented a local coming out
party for a mature Parliament-Funkadelic featuring Bootsy Collins, Bernie
Worrell, Eddie Hazel and Tim's brother Gary "Diaperman" Shider. The
show, in Piscataway, NJ, was close enough to hometown Plainfield to
bring local fans--many of whom still talk about the show as a coming
together point for the band.
