The GRE General Test is no longer offered as a written examination. Contact ETS's GRE programs for information on taking the computerized GRE General Test.
The test dates below are for the GRE Subject Tests. These will all be morning sessions. Follow the instructions on your test ticket for reporting time, or check here nearer to the test date for more complete instructions.
Candidates for the Graduate Record Examination Subject tests for 2003-2004 will be directed by Educational Testing Service to report to Scott Hall at 43 College Avenue, on the College Avenue Campus of Rutgers. This is ONLY a reporting address. Be aware that, on arriving at Scott Hall, you may (and probably will) be directed to rooms in another nearby campus building. If no list of test rooms has been posted when you arrive at Scott Hall, please wait outside the College Avenue entrance to the building (or, in inclement weather, inside that entrance's lobby) for signs to be posted or for testing staff to direct you to the testing rooms being used. Please note that normally, only one room is scheduled to contain the materials for a given subject, and reporting to a different room than the one posted may delay or even prevent your admission to the test.
It is advisable to make every effort to arrive at Scott Hall somewhat earlier than the stated 8:30am reporting time for the test.

Candidates for the Praxis Series examinations for 2003-2004 will be directed by Educational Testing Service to report to Hardenbergh Hall at 615 George Street, on the College Avenue Campus of Rutgers. This is ONLY a reporting address. Be aware that, on arriving at Hardenbergh Hall, you may be directed to rooms in other adjacent campus buildings. If no list of test rooms has been posted when you arrive at Hardenbergh Hall, please wait outside the plaza level entrance to the building (or, in inclement weather, inside that entrance's lobby) for signs to be posted or for testing staff to direct you to the testing rooms being used. Please note that normally, only one room is scheduled to contain the materials for a given subject, and reporting to a different room than the one posted may delay or even prevent your admission to the test.
An exception to the "one room per test title" rule-of-thumb is test 0014, Elementary Education: Content Knowledge. Enrollment for this specific test is generally so high as to require from three to five rooms for its administration. Please check the room assignment signs very carefully to find the correct room.
Standby candidates, center change candidates, and those changing the test that they are taking at the current administration should go to the room in which the test they are seeking to take is being administered. Please make known to the test staff in that room the fact that you are not registered for that particular test on the current date's roster for this center. If you are a standby, make every effort to bring a completed Registration Form with you, as very few are provided for use by the test center. No standby candidate can be admitted without a completed registration form.
It is advisable to make every effort to arrive at Hardenbergh Hall somewhat earlier than the stated 8:00 am reporting time for the test.
